Our competition entry for the new Archives and Museum of Literature office and archives in Brussels presents itself as a house of the Brussels surrealism, completely covered in gilded copper. This opaque and precious architectural form, carefully integrated into the profile of the district, is radically contrasted by a large glazed opening expressing the will to open this prestigious, but still too little known, institution to the general public. |

Nous avons remporté ce concours d'idées international organisé par le Berlage Institute de Rotterdam et Plan05 Köln pour avoir élaboré une vision assez sombre de Cologne au XXIe siècle, sous la menace d'un double processus: le changement climatique et une dualisation sociale croissante. Les scénarios qui fondent notre proposition ont été conçus en étroite collaboration avec M. Verstraete, chercheur au Centre commun de recherche de la Commission européenne à Ispra, Italie. |
