The Kyosk on Kirchberg is a public facility designed to welcome a new generation of visitors and users in the Central Park at the heart of the European and Financial District in Luxembourg. The 8x8 m concrete cube includes a snack bar and a public platform offering a novel panoramic view to the recently created urban landscape. Referring both to the tradition of architectural follies and the visual language of street art, the architects opted for a provocative use of color, boldly painted on the exposed concrete. Despite its modest size, the Kyosk has become a landmark in the city and a popular destination for families.
