Land in transition
Hollerich Village is a sustainable neighbourhood project at the southern entrance of the City of Luxembourg. Many activities have marked the area since the early nineteenth century. Mill, brewery, salt refinery, brick, bell foundry, steel plants, gas plant or refinery, storage of coal and petroleum products or industrial workshops, have conferred a strong identity now partly forgotten. During the transition to the future eco-neighborhood, a multitude of activities will permeate the place with a new identity.
